The CCOP working paper series contains papers that have been presented at the seminar and papers that might be of interest to scholars who are studying various aspects of institution building. The topics of the papers are quite heterogeneous. What unites them is the interest in how local social orders get built or are transformed. Topics include state building, market building, social movements, and the role of law in creating new understandings about social arrangements. Scholars are welcome to download papers where available. People interested in posting papers should contact Neil Fligstein.
